Dear One, Last week our Lord clearly communicated to us how we can continually overflow with joy and peace. Please carefully read and reflect upon the below Scriptures and discussion questions so you can experience even more of the Holy Spirit. PJ

 This Week’s Scriptures:
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all
types of malicious behavior. Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love…
Ephesians 5:31-5:1

See to it that no-one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. Hebrews 12:15

This week’s discussion questions:
Review: Based upon Matthew 18:21-35 (last week’s teaching), what does it mean to forgive from the heart?

In Ephesians 4:32 we are asked to forgive others, “just as in Christ, God forgave you”. How has God forgiven you? Why has He forgiven you? How much has He forgiven you? Why does your Lord want you to forgive others in the same manner?

If you don’t forgive from the heart…do you really think a “bitter root” will
sprout in your life? If so, how will that bitterness pollute and damage self and others (Hebrews 12)?

What about setting up boundaries for those who have sinned against us…should we?
What about “disciplining” those who have sinned against us…should we?

Our Heavenly Father wants those around us to know that the Living Lord is
present in our life. How will “forgiving others from the heart” give evidence,
give proof, that Jesus is the Lord of your life and you are living for
Him?
